Come worship with us this morning at 10 and this evening at 6
Good Morning Christ Churchers! Sometimes I just need to stop, take a deep breath and think about God’s Word and His promises toward me and all of us. Colossians 3:15 instructs us this way: “And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.” If scripture instructs us to let peace rule, the implication is that if we are not doing so, we are letting other things in to have rule of our hearts- thus pushing any peace to the side. This week as we head into the official season of Thanksgiving which gives way to Christmas and anticipating a new year, under “normal” circumstances things get hectic. And this is by no ways a normal year. Let’s be diligent about letting the peace Jesus gives (John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.) rule in our hearts. And as the Colossians passage ends; BE THANKFUL. Love, PEACE, joy & grace. See you in a bit. Pastor Gene

2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.
