Day 17 Focus: Forgiveness Key Verses: Matthew 18:33-35 Shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you? This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you (torture) unless you forgive your brother from your heart. Father, help me forgive the offenses of others quickly. Remind me of all I have been forgiven. Remind me of the grace I have received and didn’t deserve when I want to hold a grudge or cut off relationship because they have offended me. Let Your Word resound in my heart that if I want mercy, I need to be merciful!

Day 16 Focus: Love for others Key Verses: 1 John 4: 12,16(b),21No one has ever seen God, but if we love one another, God lives in us and His love is made complete in us. God IS love. Whoever lives in love lives in God and God in Him. And He has given this command: Whoever loves God MUST also love his brother. Father, when we release love toward anyone, we have released You to work. Your love will not fail!! Give us the eyes that Jesus had that saw the woman, held by the sin she was in. He saw the tax collector in the tree that wanted so badly to see this Jesus he had heard about. He saw that Saul could be a Paul! Help us value every person we encounter and allow You to love them through us!! When I am full of love for others, I am full of the Presence of God!!!

21 Days of Fasting and Prayer Day 15 Focus: Love for God
Key Verse: Mark 12:30 Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. Father, today I choose to love you with all my affection and passion. I choose to love you with the personality and gifts You planted in my soul. I choose to love You with my thoughts and will keep directing my thoughts toward what is eternal and unseen! I will love you with all my energy and my drive. I will put You first. I will give You my best. I will surrender my will for Your will. I choose You!
Pastor Joseph Dodson has been teaching a Sunday morning series on Relationships or “love on a different level”. Here are some notes from yesterday’s message …

There are also some critical races to decide who will represent our state in Washington D.C., particularly the open U.S. Senate seat.
From Pastor Gene …
Good Morning Christ Churchers! In my time of prayer, fasting and some meditating on the Word, I came to Psalm 146. It begins and ends with “Praise the Lord”. That’s a good word right there! This week has seemed to point to seasons for me. We can’t get away from the fact we are in a political season. We have seen life’s seasons play out in front of us. We have had to take some practical steps in prepping for the below freezing temps forecast for next week. We have a puppy in the house, though cute as can be, I can’t wait til some of his puppy “season” traits are a thing of the past. So back to Psalm 146. I encourage you to read it in full, but when things are changing, the world seems crazy and life seems like a spinning whirlwind, like David it is good to make a list of those things we know to be true. Verses 6-10:[The Lord] Who made heaven & earth, the sea and all that is in them;Who keeps truth forever, Who executes justice for the oppressed, Who gives food to the hungry, The Lord gives freedom to the prisoners. The Lord opens the eyes of the blind; The Lord raises those who are bowed down; The Lord loves the righteous. The Lord watches over the strangers; He relieves the fatherless and widow; But the way of the wicked He turns upside down. The Lord shall reign forever—Your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise the Lord! I encourage you to make your own list of Jesus’ truths. Write them down. Encourage yourself in the Lord. We have the opportunity to encourage each other today. Thank you Jesus for our time together! Love, peace, joy & grace. See you in a bit.
Christ Church of Neodesha welcomes you!
